The watch is produced at the USSR - 1 Moscow Watch watch factory.

The first Moscow watch factory – the first not only under the name. Throughout all the more than a 70-year-old history it was and remains the leader in working out and manufacture of high-precision clockworks. They were applied in aircraft, on fleet, in the space-rocket technics – a word, there, where the highest accuracy and reliability is required. Since 1960 of 1st MChZ Of Kirov lets out the first watch under mark "Poljot". In 1961 the flight of the person first in the history in space has taken place. In space flight Jury Gagarin took with itself watch "Poljot". 1965 – is begun release of superflat watch "Poljot". The height of the case of watch depending on execution made from 3,8 to 4,5 millimetres, and mechanism height – only 1,85 millimetres. After release of this model has been stopped, watch very quickly became a curiosity. 1992 – the Presidential Administration of Russia has chosen watch of mark "POLJOT" per quality watch «From the President of the Russian Federation».
